Who We Are

We support grassroots organizations in India committed to improving health and saving lives.

Short videos were produced on issues of girls’ and women’s empowerment. The videos built awareness, sparked conversations, questioned cultural stereotypes, and called upon audiences to act in support of women and girls. Videos were disseminated across digital media channels, complete with concise and specific calls to action.

We have developed content and implemented workshops on effective communication strategies to prevent and combat gender based violence in India – a key step in achieving the transformation of gender and social norms.

Despite the gains that India has made over the past 20 years, it remains a country with extreme gender inequalities. Gender sensitization and empowerment programs aimed at adolescents, during the time they are forming gender attitudes, have the potential to diminish gender inequity.

Videos for Empowerment

A social media campaign using a mix of data and anecdotes to highlight the urgency of issues, some delivered by celebrities, and provide suggestions on how individuals and organizations could empower young girls and women around them.
