Amit Vyas

Amita N. Vyas, MHS, PhD

Founder

Amita N. Vyas is an Associate Professor and Director of the Maternal and Child Health Program in the Department of Prevention and Community Health, at the Milken Insitute School of Public Health, and the Editor-in-Chief of the top-ranked journal Women’s Health Issues. Her teaching and research focus on women and adolescent health, and she has served as the Principal Investigator for multiple research grants from diverse donors. She has close to 20 years of experience as an investigator and has have been working closely with community-based organizations, community leaders and members, and local health departments to design and implement public health interventions, and evaluation studies.

Nitasha Nagara

Nitasha C. Nagaraj, MPH, DrPH

Treasurer

Nitasha C. Nagaraj is a Research Scientist at the Milken Institute School of Public Health in the Department of Prevention and Community Health. Nitasha has led qualitative and quantitative research while working with communities to design, implement, and evaluate interventions and programs aimed at improving the development and well-being of girls and women. Her research focus areas include the evaluation of domestic violence, youth development, family violence, girls’ empowerment, and gender sensitization programs in the U.S. and in India.

Megan Landry

Megan Landry, MPH, DrPH

Board Member

Megan Landry is a Senior Research Scientist at the Milken Institute School of Public Health with over 10 years of experience in data management and advanced analysis methods. Her research has focused on sexual and reproductive health, women and girls’ empowerment, and improving maternal and child health outcomes globally. She is experienced in improving data quality and performing advanced analysis methods. She has been the quantitative methods lead on several projects where she conducted analysis such as confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, longitudinal analysis, and complex survey analysis.

Gayatri Malhotra

Gayatri Malhotra, MPH

Board Member

Gayatri Malhotra is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist at EnCompass. She is a global health professional with interests in gender and health in international development evaluations and programs. Her research experiences include quantitative and qualitative data management, collection, cleaning, and analyses. She has previously worked on a quasi-experimental, mixed-methods, evaluation study with The George Washington University in India. Her research focus areas include adolescent and women’s health, girl’s empowerment, and gender equality.

Vaibhav Jain

Vaibhav Jain is an Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Organizer and Community Engagement Specialist. Detail-oriented and analytical Research Associate with over eight years of experience in areas of clinical dental medicine, health data management, project management, and data analysis. Recognized for improving the health and wellbeing of people around the world by establishing strong partnerships with national and global organizations providing technical assistance on programs benefiting marginalized communities around the world. A Project Manager with proven success in leading research projects and health programs aimed at helping people, their families, and their communities stay healthy.

Kate Roberts is a global social entrepreneur, multiple business owner, women’s advocate, philanthropist, fundraiser, artist, and public speaker. She has had a 30-year career of championing women’s leadership, public health, a focus on women’s sexual reproductive health, sexual wellness, and exponential philanthropy. Together with PSI, Melinda Gates, and HRH The Crown princess of Norway, Roberts founded Maverick Collective, a $100M groundbreaking philanthropic initiative led by women for women, innovating and scaling women-focused public health solutions across 60 developing countries.
